The housing has a couple small impact spots on the motor housing, but no cracks or holes. This is a used original BMW part. ITEM: elec steering rack, 40k.

The input shaft is very clean and undamaged. Details can be viewed in the photos. The housing has no serious damage, and all the mounting points are intact.

All of the electrical connectors are intact. Still not sure this part will fit your car. The donor car could not be run or driven, so the rack has been tested. See the photo below for illustration.
